About

Assalamualykum

Welcome to the World’s first website featuring essential daily DUA in British Sign Language (BSL). We want to help transform the connection for Deaf Muslims globally with Allah, and believe that by providing this innovative platform we can facilitate a better understanding, memorise and establish some positive daily habits.

What is DUA?

Our belove Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “Dua (supplication) is worship” [Abu Dawud] and in another narration he said: “The supplication is the essence of worship.” [At – Tirmidhi]

Allah has placed no limit on how much we can ask of Him; He actually teaches us the best ways to ask of Him through the beautifully worded duas in the Qur’an and the authentic narrations of the Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him). The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) used to seek Allah’s help and blessings at all times and in all situations: he ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) would read and recite certain duas  in the mornings, evenings, before and after eating, in hardships and ease and even while putting on a new garment. His ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) entire day was filled with different duas.

Making dua and engaging in the remembrance of Allah is one of the ways of gaining blessings and barakah in our lives. This website will feature many key dua’s as found in the one of the most popular printed dua book “Fortress of the Muslim” also known as Hisnul Muslim.

Our expert team are working very hard to translate more dua’s each month into BSL. You can support our efforts by promoting our work and donating to this noble cause: www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/deafdua
